- 7 gactive dry yeast
- 1.27 cupswarm water
- 2.71 fl ozmolasses
- 5.08 fl ozdark beer
- 2 tbspcaraway seeds
- 1 tbspfennel seeds
- 2 tbspcocoa powder
- 2.03 fl ozcoffee, strong, cooled
- 3 tbspvegetable oil
- 2 tspsalt
Instructions

Dissolve yeast in warm water, let foam for 10 minutes.

Mix flours, cocoa powder, caraway seeds, fennel seeds, and salt.

Combine yeast mixture, sourdough starter, molasses, beer, coffee, and oil.

Mix wet and dry ingredients to form sticky dough.

Knead dough for 10 minutes until smooth (will remain dense).

Place in oiled bowl, rise for 1.5 hours until doubled.

Shape into loaf, place in greased pan, rise 45 minutes.
